Frank was born September 6, 1946 in Olawa, Poland to the late Jan and Maria Ignatowicz. In 1969, Frank married Anna Pajor in Krynica, Zdroj where they had 3 children. Providing a better life for his children was Frank’s number one priority so the family emigrated to Canada in the late 1980s, where they started a new life together, settling in Edmonton. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Frank is survived by his wife Anna, daughters Mayka & Alicja and son Grzegorz, as well as granddaughters Gabriella and Alexandra. Frank was known for his clever wit and great sense of humour. When he wasn’t watching hockey, he loved discussing Polish politics and talking about his travels to Italy. He loved his garden but his greatest joy was his family and friends. The family wishes to thank all those who cared for Frank over the last few months, Edziu, Marysia, staff at Miller Crossing Care Center, Ed from Tymins, and others. ***************************************************************************************************************************************************** ******************************************************************************************************************************************************** W sobotę, 24 września 2016 roku, Franciszek (Frank) Ignatowicz zmarł w wieku 70 lat. Franciszek urodził się 6 września 1946 roku w Oławie, w Polsce, syn Jana i Marii Ignatowicz. W 1969 roku poślubił Annę Pajor w Krynicy Zdroju, gdzie mieli 3 dzieci. Franciszka priorytetem bylo znalezienie lepszego życia dla dzieci i rodzina wyemigrowała do Kanady w drugiej polowie dekady lat 1980, gdzie zaczęli nowe życie, osiedlając się w Edmonton. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Franciszek pozostawił żonę Annę, córki Maykę & Alicję i syna Grzegorza, a także wnuczki Gabriellę i Aleksandrę. Franciszek znany był za mądry dowcip i wielkie poczucie humoru. Kiedy nie oglądał hokeja, omawial polską politykę i mówil o jego podróży do Włoch. Jego największą radościa była jego rodzina i przyjaciele. Rodzina pragnie podziękować wszystkim, którzy opiekowali sie i utrzymywali kontact z Franciszkiem w ciągu ostatnich kilku miesięcy, Edziu, Marysia, personel Miller Crossing Care Center, Edziu z Tymins i innych.
